THROAT CHAKRA
Today the center that appears congested is your Throat Chakra.
What does that mean?
The throat chakra is about giving. This is the center of the expression of kindness and unconditional love to all through giving, regardless of perceived merit. It is this giving disposition that makes us human. Without this center, we are just clever animals only interested in our own welfare. Through the expression of our love, we are in touch with the universe. When we block this energy, we are separate from the flow of divine energies.
This throat chakra is blocked by emotions of shame, judgment, and expressing your emotions. If blocked/underactive you may find it hard to truly express yourself. You may literally swallow your words, and in doing so, swallow your true feelings. In addition, you may find it hard to pay attention and stay focused, or fear judgment from others which can hinder your ability to keep it real. Physically this blockage can manifest itself as a sore throat, thyroid issues, neck and shoulder stiffness, tension headaches, and liver issues.
An overactive throat chakra includes being over-domineering in conversations, talking too much, being overly critical or judgmental of others, and being short-tempered.
By honoring and listening to yourself and expressing yourself clearly, you keep the energy moving in this chakra.
When you have this chakra open, you speak authentically from your heart.
The Throat Chakra is located in front of the throat and is indicated as the light blue circle on the map.
