Today the center that appears congested is your C7 Chakra.

What does that mean?

The C7 chakra is located on your spine at the bottom of your neck and at the top of your spine. It is about learning and the aspect of judgment.   It allows you to learn through clearly seeing and letting go of aspects of yourself that are no longer needed.  It’s where you can release your attachments to situations and people that are no longer conducive to your growth. It opens your energies to new experiences through the conscious shedding of old skins. A good example is the power to give up something that you are attached to for the greater good. Just being able to give up ice cream and chocolate to lose weight and be healthier is a demonstration of this.   It's about seeing parts of yourself that are no longer useful and shedding the old to make way for the new.

When the C7 chakra becomes blocked/underactive you may find yourself depressed and hanging onto the past.   You have a strong feeling of right or wrong and you usually are right.  You can be very self-critical.

Physically this blockage can manifest itself as becoming easily short of breath.  You hold tension in your neck, and it is often stiff and sore.

When overactive the C7 chakra includes sadness, a tendency to cry easily, and feeling overburdened.  When stressed, you hold back when you have something to say and may feel very judged by others and yourself.

By honoring and listening to yourself and expressing yourself clearly, you keep the energy moving in this chakra.  This helps you be in the present and let go of the past.  Telling yourself you did the best you could at that moment, helps release the tension of the past.

The C7 Chakra is located at the top of the spine and the base of the neck as indicated with the light pink circle on the map.
